The entrotech life sciences technology in Prevahex^CHX^™ incorporates the pure form of chlorhexidine (CHX) into a variety of thin film transparent dressings, offering the only FDA cleared CHX dressing with complete antimicrobial protection throughout the transparent areas of the dressing.

Rapid onset of action
Free of p-chloroaniline (PCA)
Free of gluconic acid and accetic acid (skin irritant, acidic and potenially skin corrosive additive)
No activation by moisture, blood, sweat or alcohol required
No skin irritating salts, acids, colophony or binders
Antimicrobial protection for up to seven days
Transparent dressing allows full site visualization

Other Chlorhexidine-based Dressings...

Can take up to three days to demonstrate significant antimicrobial activity
Require moisture, alcohol, water or sweat to activate
Contain p-chloroaniline (PCA) (acutely toxic, skin sensitizer, carcinogen)
Commonly contain acrylic, acid, colophony and other skin irritating additives
Do not allow for full site visualization
